We’ve included a mix of serious and not so serious awareness days to give you flexibility with your messaging and lot’s of inspiration to your next campaign.

1st-30th September

Sourdough September

One of our favourite and totally vegan breads gets a whole month of love in September.

While most other breads can contain eggs and dairy this beauty is just a mix of flour and water and the all important ‘starter’.

Get kneading and bake yourself some tasty loaves this month and don’t forget to share your recipes.

1st-30th September

World Alzheimers Month

Globally dementia is one of our biggest challenges and it brings a lot of stigma with it.

It’s time to get people talking about it and to demystify the disease.

A diagnosis can leave people feeling very alone so take the time to pop in for a cuppa and a chat and really make someones day.

3rd September

National Doodle Day

Spend the day doodling and if you happen to be famous you can auction your doodle on-line to raise funds to support those suffering with epilepsy.

4th September

International Vulture Awareness Day

It’s a pretty awesome sight when you have a vulture circling overhead.

These creatures are under threat and many species are virtually extinct. They’re so important to our ecology that we need to make sure they’re respected and protected.

How eagle-eyed will you be today?

Go for a walk in your local area and see if you can spot one or join in with the many activites supporting vultures up and down the country.

6th September

National Read a Book Day

Feel free to send your recommendations to us here.

13th September

Roald Dahl Story Day

What’s your favourite? Esio Trot, Georges Marvellous Medicine, The Twits, or maybe Revolting Rhymes?

13th-19th September

Jeans For Genes Day

Are you a skinny, straight or full flare?

By wearing your jeans and donating today you’ll be helping support those born with life-altering genetic disorders.

15th September

International Dot Day

This day was inspired by a teacher when he introduced his class to the book ‘The Dot’ by Peter H Reynolds.

It’s a day to celebrate and collaborate on all things creative whether that be writing, drawing, painting or whatever gets your juices flowing.

16th-22nd September

European Mobility Week

A European campaign to raise awareness of sustainable urban transport. Promoting public transport and other clean transport solutions.

With our climate in free fall and transport being one of the largest contributors to that, we seriously need to look at the ways in which we travel.

Don’t forget the 22nd of September is Car Free Day.

17th-26th September

Great British Beach Clean

Our beaches are going to be used to capacity this summer so we expect the amount of litter will unfortunately drastically increase too.

Why not organise or join a beach clean near you.

And if you’re going to the coast anytime soon please make sure you take your rubbish home with you.

19th September

International Talk Like A Pirate Day

Get some grog in and Splice the mainbrace today but be careful not to get three sheets to the wind as tomorrow is a school day!

20th-26th September

World Reflexology Week

Time to take your socks off and enjoy a bit of a foot massage. Hope you don’t have bromodosis though! (Bromodosis – the medical term for smelly feet)

24th September

FSC Friday

“Save our forest. Save our climate.”

The slogan for this years campaign to raise global awareness of the importance of responsible forest management and how our climate and forests are linked.

Do you have an FSC certified product? Nows the time to really promote it.

27th September

Crush a Can Day

Take out your frustrations on a can today and after you’re done crushing it, recycle it!

29th September

Confucius Day

Confucius say – Man who run in front of car get tired.
We hope this has given you a few lightbulb moments and lots of inspiration for your next social media and marketing campaigns.
