June 2020 AWARENESS DAYS
Here is a list of National, International and World awareness days for June 2020. The days listed are a great opportunity for your business to run relevant promotions. Or, to create social media content that ties to the theme of the day.
We’ve included a mix of serious and not so serious awareness days to give you flexibility with your messaging to your customers.

1st June – Volunteers Week, National Growing for Wellbeing Week and Pride Month
A week to recognise the vital work volunteers do in our community and also do some volunteering yourself. A week to get in the garden and discover the mental and physical benefits and a month to be proud of whoever you are, gay, straight, trans or anything else, love is love.
3rd June – Child Safety Week
How does your business help to keep children safe in and out of the home?
5th June – World Environment Day
Modern society is so disconnected from the natural world around us. Take today to reconnect and rediscover how amazing nature is and how much it can positively affect your mood and mindset.
7th June – National Fish & Chip Day
Mushy peas or curry sauce? Which one would you choose?
8th June – Bike Week
“Get on your bike and ride!” – Freddie Mercury
9th June – Coral Triangle Day
A day to raise awareness of the dangers our coral reefs are facing and the importance of ocean protection and conservation. Are you near a beach? Why not organise a beach clean?
10th June – Men’s Health Week
A week to raise awareness of the health issues that disproportionately affect men and how they can be spotted, treated and avoided.
13th June – Sewing Machine Day & Cupcake Day
Treat yourself to a cake after sewing up that hole in your favourite jumper.
14th June – World Blood Donor Day
Do something amazing, give blood and save a life.
15th June – National Beer Day
If there are any breweries out there that need a taste tester we’ll happily be your guys.
17th June – Plastic Free Beauty Day
Can you challenge yourself to create a plastic-free beauty regime or bathroom cabinet?
20th June – International Surfing Day
Man, that was a sick wave.
21st June – Father’s Day and International Day of Yoga
No, he doesn’t want another pair of socks this year. But he might enjoy a yoga class with the Ahimsa Yogini.
23rd June – Public Service Day
A day to remind us of how important the public sector is and how much we should value the people who dedicate their lives to public service.
26th June – National Writing Day

27th June – Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Day
MSME’s are the backbone of our economy. Celebrate your status as an MSME and showcase what you do to support your customers.
28th June – Wallace & Gromit’s Wrong Trousers Day
A day to wear some the wackiest trousers you can and raised funds for critically ill babies and children in Bristol’s children’s hospital.
